How to Join
To join scout pack 248 (grades K-5), we hold an open house every fall. This year, the event was on October 7, 2025. If you missed this event, just show up to one of our regularly scheduled meetings to see what it's all about! There is no sign-up required to start.
Check out the Home page for the meeting location, and the Events page for our meeting schedule. If you have any questions, just email us at info@walthamscouting.org and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
Once you and your child are ready to join officially, see below for the steps to sign up online.

Register your scout by navigating here, choosing "APPLY NOW", and selecting "Youth." Follow the instructions and make the payment.

When you register your scout, you will create a my.scouting.org account. Remember this login information for yearly renewal and for signing up to volunteer (see below).

Contact us at info@walthamscouting.org to discuss how you would like to volunteer.
Register yourself as a volunteer by navigating here, choosing "APPLY NOW", and selecting "Adult." Make sure you're logged in and follow the instructions. Depending on your role, you will need to complete some online and/or in-person training.
